For anyone who has played one or more of the previous 3 games in the series this is an exciting time! Although I personally wasn't a fan of the third iteration in the series the first two were such a fun adventure it more than makes up for it. Paper Mario: The Origami King looks as if it'll be more similar to the original two spelling out good things in my opinion.
That begs to question. Who is the Origami King? What does he want? Has Bowser been folded into a useless square? Has Mario decided to team up with him?
Nintendo has figured out a brilliant way to stay true to the Paper Mario series while adding some... depth... to the story. Origami, the ancient art of paper folding.
Epic games is releasing daily games for free until the end of the year! Keep and eye out and jump on the chance, each game is only available for a day!
It's finally here! Hyrule Warriors: age of calamity came out today. Did you wonder what happened during those 100 years that link was napping? Get your hands on Hyrule Warriors to see what went down. Not sure about the game? Grab the free demo on the Nintendo eShop and test it out for yourself.
Darkest Dungeon is captivating as soon as you start it up but will that maintain. With so many games out there some just aren't worth your time and for me Darkest dungeon falls into the latter category.
Looking for an open world game full of quests yet with the options to craft and farm? Yonder might be what you've been waiting for! With its mix of crafting elements to build up the world and exploration you'll find yourself scouring the island to save the inhabitants from the murk that is taking over this island.
Genshin Impact: Gacha gaming that’s… good? I often find myself not knowing quite how to feel about mobile games. While capable of providing cheap thrills and alleviating temporary boredom, they generally don’t possess the sort of staying power more robust console and PC titles do.
Has gaming lost its magic? Are you unable to find a game worth your time? Do you scroll endlessly through your library and waste time watching trailers - but nothing engages you? You might have Gamer's Block! Don't worry though, there's hope for you yet.
The game is a blast to play. I am not one who tends to play these competitive first person shooters but I'm starting to think maybe I should be spending more time playing them. I did get better over the course of playing but still got obliterated each round. Some of that was due to glitching in the game but generally it was just me.
I don't play a lot of competitive first person shooters. Call of Duty specifically I haven't played since high school. That made getting Beta access to Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War a little nerve wracking. I figured that I should record my first attempt at playing this game so that you can what it's all about
Most games that I remember from years past are the classics known for their great gameplay. I can confidently say that's not the case for this game. The crazy nature of this game, from animation to concept, is definitely what has kept it in my mind all these years.
This quirky throwback to old style gaming got me hooked pretty quickly. Even with it's simple play style the game offers a variety of challenges that'll keep you staring that the screen.
I bet there is a number of you out there who are going "Finally a third Pikmin!" Well sorry to burst your bubble but the game has actually been out for a long while. Whether you've never played the third game or just haven't touched it in a while the free demo in the Nintendo Store is worth the download!
Although the game came out 9 years ago it still has a lot of playability today. Whether you're just trying to find areas that you've never explored or creating a whole new build opposite or what you normally play there's numerous ways to keep you interested. With the addition of the Amiibo it can be even more exciting.
The game reminds me of a classic arcade side scroller game but with an upgraded 3D depth to the scenery. Flying in a plane (that can also fly underwater?) while shooting the things that come onto the screen to stay alive and hopefully upgrade as you go!
While we are awaiting the sequel in the much beloved “Breath of the Wild” series Nintendo surprised us with a prequel! Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity lets you play through the war in the years previous to the adventure we’ve come to love. Get through Hyrule as any of the previous heroes!
Nintendo has adamantly stated that the DS would not be brought to an end because of the Switch. This was hard to believe as the Nintendo Switch is very similar to the DS consoles. Staying true to their word for much longer than anticipated their latest update may bring an end to the DS.
