Borderlands 2 to Borderlands 3 - Tie in DLC

Commander Lilith and the Fight for Sanctuary

An interesting title that is intended to link Borderlands 2 into Borderlands 3. It’s wonderful to get any free DLC but this one is very smart. Not only will it tie in the previous game with the new release, giving the new game more freedom for creativity, it also has a secondary advantage of bringing players back into the world before Borderlands 3 is released. By connecting the two worlds, they might expect a much better critical reception and even higher sales.

Reportedly set to release on June 9th, Borderlands 2 DLC, Commander Lilith and the Fight for Sanctuary, will coincide with Microsoft’s E3 press conference. I’m sure with this we will get to see and hear more about Borderlands 3 and how it ties in with this new DLC.

If you don’t have Borderlands 2 on the Xbox One, PS4, or PC than you might have a harder time getting the free DLC as it will likely not be created for the older consoles. to get yourself a new copy feel free to follow the links below:

And remember you can always pre-order your copy of Borderlands 3 as well!
