Call of Duty Modern Warfare | Review Roundup
Well this is one of those games where if you like the series you're probably already highly invested into the latest release. With its cross platform play, Modern Warfare doesn't force you to choose only friends who own the same console. You can play with your real friends no matter what console (or PC) they're playing on!
This review round up is for those people who are on the fence about picking up the latest addition to this addicting franchise. If you're someone who has already bought the game or someone who has no intention of doing so this might just be a nice read to see what others are thinking.
PC gamer 8/10
"Call of Duty: Modern Warfare has sold itself as a return to the setting that "started it all." It’s a snappy marketing line that tugs the nostalgic strings of fans who remember the magic of 2007, and it’s not entirely misleading. The warfare is once again modern and, yes, Captain Price is still your likeable squad dad. Yet it's Modern Warfare's moments of unfamiliarity that impressed me—rebuilt weapon handling, ambitious new multiplayer modes, and characters that aren’t the cookie-cutter operatives we've seen in the last decade."Morgan Park, PC gamer.com
"The likes of Team Deathmatch and Domination are present and accounted for, alongside newcomers such as Cyber Attack. The latter mode operates in a similar manner to Search and Destroy, with teams delivering a bomb to a specific point on the map. It’s a thrilling, round-based affair that’s excellent fun, using the reworked gunplay to its advantage to create some genuinely fierce firefights."

Digital Chumps 9.2/10
"Call of Duty: Modern Warfare looks to bring everything back, and then some. It re-established the game campaign, which is a healthy five hours, and put together a cornucopia of multi-player modes that certainly will contain a bit of something for everyone. On top of that, Infinity Ward also threw in a co-op mode that is tough as nails and will probably be streaming everywhere once this game launches tomorrow."
Nathaniel Stevens, digitalchumps.com
"The pitfalls of Spec Ops don't detract from what Modern Warfare does well, though. Realism mode is an excellent addition to the slate, and although not all the new multiplayer modes are great, Gunfight and the Night Vision playlist are refreshing standouts. And while the campaign ends up playing it safe in the end, it's still a memorable one, and it lays a strong foundation for where the Modern Warfare series could go from here."

So all in all it seems like the back to basics approach of the latest Call of Duty has been a big hit! With an average score of 8.2/10 it's tough to be too negative about it. From the campaign to the cooperative play it seems like Activision has published yet another hit. Remember that with cross platform play you'll be able to play online with all your friends! (Except for Nintendo)
Call of Duty Modern Warfare overall is considered a great game with an average score of 8.2/10. This iteration of the game brings players back to basics with a lot less futuristic technology involved. If you were a fan of the classic Call of Duty games you'll likely enjoy this one as well!

I spent a lot of time looking into what games were worth spending money on for my VR headset. After a lot of time looking into what was out there and testing out a bunch of free ones I landed on BeatSaber being my first real purchase.
Free games tend to be a large hit or miss market. There are some out there that are far too fun and should be charging something. While others aren’t worth the time it takes to download them. Bait is something that falls into the category of being worth the effort.

The initial hurdles of getting into the system can be frustrating. Honestly something that I found a little frustrating was attempting to read my WIFI password and enter it into the VR headset although I can only see where I am typing when I have the headset on. Aside from that the main struggles were just related to learning how to properly function with a headset on. The controls are very comfortable and easy to use making the process easier. After getting past that I got sucked into using the headset way way too much.
With the latest update to Stardew Valley there’s more reason than ever to get back into the game! Especially if you own it on console. SPLIT SCREEN CO-OP!!!!! This was a long time coming but even so I still am taken back by how much extra enjoyment is added to the game by playing it split screen with my partner.

There are a few games that are a major part of my childhood and Mario 64 is one of the top games of the “throwback” category to me. I remember spending hours trying to get through the simplest of tasks and I'm glad to say that as an adult the game is not so intimidating. Updated with smoother controls really elevates the gameplay to something a lot more enjoyable.

So a review of this game would be kinda absolutely useless based on the age of it. It’s been out forever so instead it lands as a Throwback to all those old games that bring back wonderful childhood memories. Much like Super Mario 64, I recall playing Roller Coaster Tycoon 3 obsessively as a child. Although it might not hold up as well as some games, the nostalgia is always nice.

Darkest Dungeon is captivating as soon as you start it up but will that maintain. With so many games out there some just aren't worth your time and for me Darkest dungeon falls into the latter category.
